Flying visit

I'm back in good ole Blighty. Goodness me we had a suuuuuper time. It was truly a beautiful holiday. The best bit? Spending a proper amount of time with Rah. I've fallen in love with her all over again. Just as I did when I met her twenty years ago. Little wonder she is one of My Girls.

Anyway I am just flying in to say I'm back, I'm fine, I'm a bit tired, I'm drowning under the chaos of housework and washing, I'm cuddling the boys as much as they'll let me, I've been talking to my besties on the blower, replying to a zillion lovely emails from THAT post. You know, the usual back to life hubbub that occurs after being away.

So in lieu of a real post here's a photo of the wedding that took place a week ago in The Ladies Pavilion, Central Park, NYC.

I totally fancy the pants off Mr C in this photo.

I'll be back next week with a proper post all about the wedding and the holiday. Also I have some crochet and knitting to Ta Dahhhhhhhh.....but I am a shade jet lagged so that'll have to wait. I can't believe I used to cross several time zones just days apart and still look glossy and groomed. Oh to be 23 again. You should see me now. I look sort of grimy. I'm certain Richard Branson would have to kick me off the crew if I was still a trolley* (as my mate affectionately calls me)

xxx

*translation for those who are over seas. We call cabin crew trolley dollies over here. It's usually said as a derogatory term but I've always rather liked it and never minded being referred to in this way. Probably because I am far from doll like in real life.

  1. Look how much Glen is "into" Rah during the vows. Utter magic. Utter love. I am so thrilled it was so lush and the weather looks awesome. Midnight blue really suits Rah. Really wish we'd been able to go.
Good to chat today, hope you getting on top of things love.

Loved your little comment about Mr C - he does look pretty hot. Is he super tall or is he standing on a step?!
