......hanging out the dresses I made last year as I can now fit in them again....

♥
I also received the liebster award from Grateful for Crochet a while ago but have taken an age to say my thank you's! You must pop over and have a nose. There are some superb dolls being crocheted over there that always make me smile, especially how they are described. Go and have a look at this and you'll see what I mean.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Hahahahaha
ReplyDeleteThanks for that :)
I think we must have both just blogged at the same time!!!
Those dresses are awesome, so funny the things we blog about, I just put photos of my hair up on my blog, which I now realise is such a super odd thing to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you made those dresses and put them in an Etsy shop, they would all fly out too! LOVE LOVE LOVE them. Totally me. I soooooooo need to get to grips with my sewing machine. She scares me at the moment. I really want to make friends with her....sigh...............xxxxxxx

Love the dresses, very clever!!
ReplyDeleteWell done for getting back into them.. it is a very good feeling.
I'm amazed at how lovely and slim you look, even after having 3 kids fairly recently.. your my inspiration!
I'm hanging onto the thought that even if I want to have a load of kids.. it doesn't mean I can't slim down again. (that's if I stay away from the nutella!)

Pretty dresses! And thanks for the link to Grateful for Crochet - so needed to laugh tonight and what a refreshingly honest, funny blog, ta! :-) x
ReplyDeleteLol...her dolls are the best!
ReplyDeleteI can't find you in Pinterest. :0( My name is Jamaymaymommy
Awww Cuckoo I think this was about the first post I read of yours, or was it the pants you made, but it was way 'back' then, how time has flown. Good on you for being able to slip back into them. Hope Spain is glorious and you are having a wonderful time xoxo Sandi
ReplyDeleteHola, gorgeous girl! Well done you, getting back into your, frankly heavenly, homemade frocks. They are both super pretty but my favourite is the green.
ReplyDeleteLove from Norfolk! Hope you are having a fab time.

I simply love both those dresses - every single thing about them. I would love to have made them as I would wear them every single day. The colours and styles are just lovely. I'm glad that you can fit into them as it would be a waste of both your gorgeousness if the one couldn't show off the other. I think I have put on a bit of weight. Don't mind actually as I'm no spring chicken anymore, so I think it possibly looks a bit better (but maybe I'm just being complacent). Don't like the idea of growing out of my clothes though - too expensive!

I love your dresses! What gorgeous fabric. So lovely and summery. Yay to fit into them - what a great feeling ay. Congrats on your award hon - very well deserved! Have a fab weekend.
ReplyDeleteAbso..flamin...lutely, particularly when they are that pretty! Lets just hope for some sunshine so you don't need to layer up with numerous jumpers (though you can't actually beat a bit of layering so hey ho)

Lovely frocks for a lovely Cuckoo xx
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Hope you're having a lovely holiday.

Congratulations on your lovely award and also very pretty dresses that you made. Oh to be able to sew!
ReplyDeleteHey, those little metal/foil funny looking thingimibobs that you put in my hook roll? Had an idea they were meant for threading needles but wasn't sure at all how they worked... well my Ma told me how to use it when I saw her at the weekend and now I love you. They RULE. I have been using an enormous plastic crochet needle so that I could get the yarn through... no longer required now that I have my whizzy foil needle threader and proper tapestry needle courtesy of Cuckoo Land.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm slow but I was immeasurably pleased to have something make my life so easy!
